KhiKhi- Sharing laughter beyond close proximity

This prototype was designed as a part of a week long Design and Innovation workshop organised by MIT Media Lab India Initiative at Gandhinagar. It consists of a necklace which triggers tickling, and in turn, laughter, in a person or group of friends when a connected to a friend of theirs, who might be laughing in any part of the world, essentially eliminating the need of close proximity to share happiness. The device makes use of Tessel microcontrollers, and works over the Internet.
